​Dr. Alex Culbreth - Physician and OB/GYN from Valdosta, Georgia

Dr. Alex Culbreth is a physician and partner at Southern OB/GYN Associates in Valdosta, GA. Previously, he worked as a physician at OB/GYN Associates in Macon. He holds a doctor of medicine from the Mercer University School of Medicine, where he was class president from 1987 to 1990, and graduated in the top 5 percent of his class. Dr. Alex Culbreth also worked in the Mercer University student infirmary.

Dr. Culbreth completed his internship and residency at Greenville Hospital System’s department of obstetrics and gynecology in Greenville, SC. His achievements included serving as chief obstetrics and gynecology resident from 1989 to 1990. He also provided medical care at the Clemson University infirmary from 1991 to 1994. Additionally, he received the Resident Research Award and presented research on "Septic Pelvic Thrombophlebitis" before the Georgia OB/GYN Association in 1989.
